You already know this…. but we are dog people.
And not just “dog” people… we are “spoiling dog” people.
But that’s ok. We love our pets and just like taking the best care of them. So that’s why I thought I’d share a few pet supplies and things that I love and have or would repurchase. Maybe this will help you find some things to make life better for your pooch!
Patas Lague Absorbent Dog Towel
Blue has coarse curly hair and it likes to hang on to water. We were in our local Buchheits Farm Supply store one day and I seen a similar towel but it was priced at $25! No thank you! So I did what every Amazon-Purchasing-Fool does… I found it online cheaper.
All those little “fingers” on this towel just pull that water right in and off of your doggo. It’s large too and has these pockets on the back for you to put your hands in. It comes in a variety of colors. I’ve washed ours multiple times and it still looks and feels new. Today’s price shows $15.99 but I got it on sale for $11.99 so save it to your cart and watch for the price to drop if you’re not in a hurry to purchase.
Annchwool No Pull Dog Harness
It was trial and error trying to find a good harness like I wanted for Chief (and then Blue). I wanted something easy to get on and off, that was easily adjustable, was a heavy-duty material, wouldn’t be hot for him to wear, and had a metal ring clip for the leash instead of a plastic one. I ordered 3 and sent back 3. In this case, fourth time was the charm.
This is a great harness and I believe it is made of nylon and also breathable mesh as well… but the material is layered thick… like this thing is not going to rip or tear! It is super easy to get on, just slips over the head and buckles on the side. It’s easy to adjust and has a long length of adjustment available. It has the metal O and D rings as well.
It comes in several different colors and is available in sizes Small to Extra Large. You can also purchase with a matching leash for a little more money, but I did not.

iBuddy Dog Seat Cover
If your dog sheds but you love to take them with you, then this thing is a must have.
I have purchased 2 of these, one for Chief and then when we got Blue I purchased another one. The only reason being is that I had left Chief’s out on the carport, and it got nasty and sun faded.
These are great hammock-style carriers that fit in the back seat of your vehicle. They are easy to put in and take out with the quick release clips. They are easy to wipe out and shake out as well as machine washable. As an added bonus, they are waterproof.
They come in 2 sizes: standard and truck; and there are 3 colors to choose from.
At $32.99 they are kind of pricey but worth every penny to keep the dog hair out of your vehicle.
PetMD Advanced Ear Cleaning Wipes
Even tho Blue is an inside pup, somehow his ears catch all the dirt. I was just wiping them out with a washcloth but couldnt get into all the little nooks and crannies of those cute ears. So, I did what I do, and started researching. These seemed to be the top rated ear wipes out there and they work really good.
They are large enough that one wipe cleans the whole ear and small enough that you can get into the little hiding spots. Plus, keeping all that dirt out will help prevent ear infections and possible vet bills.
There are 100 wipes in each jar and they are priced at $14.99, but currently have a 15% off coupon. They are also made in the USA.
Nylabone Power Chew Dog Toy
While Blue is not a huge “chewer”, Chief was! He chewed on EVERYTHING. Most of his toys didn’t last 2 days. He would just absolutely destroy everything. So, once again, I went on the hunt for an indestructible dog toy. I tried a couple of the Kong brand “extreme chewer” toys and while they did last longer than most, they eventually had to be thrown away. Then I seen this Nylabone toy and at around $7, it was worth a try.
Let me tell you, it was worth every penny. Chief chewed on this thing all the time. Now Blue chews on it and, while it has some teeth marks on it, it is nowhere near the end of its life. It’s not cracked, broke, peeled, or gotten weak. It’s still just has strong as ever and is gonna last forever it seems.
If you have a heavy chewer, you need to check this one out!
